The
design process begins when asking for a quote. The questions we ask are informal
and are about your sailing in general, but what we are trying to do is get
a feel for what sort of sailing you do in order to give the best advice possible.
There are a huge variety of cloths available and our team of experts will
match a cloth to you, your budget, your expectations and of course your boat.
The
important thing is to be honest we can then give you our best advice based
on many years experience in sail making and sailing.
We pride ourselves in working closely with the customer to ensure the most
suitable product is used on your boat.
Each sail is expertly measured by us to ensure a perfect fit.
Genoa
furling Gear: We can offer advice on and supply a large number of furling
systems, either replacing old systems or changing genoas with hanks. We generally
use Rotostay furling gear which we find to be of excellent quality and well
priced. We can also suggest and install other systems where appropriate.
Lazy Jacks: : To aid and assist main sail stowage we make up and install
our own designed system which is neat and economic.
Booms: We can install retro reefing systems, and supply and install
new slab reefing and single line reefing systems.
Masts: We can advise and install new masts from a variety of suppliers.
Insurance work is also undertaken.
Temporary forestay systems: We can supply and install custom stainless
mast fittings, stay and Hyfield lever for either Storm Jibs or light Genoas.
